Aurora, also known as Jeanne-Marie Beaubier, is a Marvel Comics character and a member of the Canadian superhero team, Alpha Flight. Born in Montreal, Canada, she and her twin brother, Jean-Paul (Northstar), were separated at birth after their parents' tragic death.

Jeanne-Marie was raised in a strict Catholic boarding school, unaware of her mutant abilities. Her repressed nature led to dissociative identity disorder, splitting her personality into the shy, devout Jeanne-Marie and the more extroverted and powerful Aurora.

Aurora's mutant powers include flight, superhuman speed, and the ability to generate blinding light blasts, especially when in contact with Northstar. She initially struggled to control her powers and her dual personalities, often making her unpredictable.

She has been a consistent member of Alpha Flight, fighting alongside her brother and other Canadian heroes. Despite her internal struggles, Aurora is a powerful and dedicated hero, committed to protecting others and mastering her abilities.
